Hawai‘i Wildlife Fund’s Hawksbill Recovery Project is a volunteer
collaboration between governmental agencies and the community.

> What we do
We are actively engaging the community in research, education and conservation projects. Learn about the marine environment while snorkeling or whale watching with our naturalists, volunteer your time with one of our projects, or donate to our cause.

HWF's Hannah Bernard assists in excavating a hawksbill sea turtle
nest that did not erupt naturally. The effort resulted in freeing
several baby turtles that were trapped below the surface.
